Accessibility Statement

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, where practical for an early-stage, actively evolving website. This includes providing descriptive alternative text for images, ensuring interactive elements are keyboard-navigable and properly labeled for screen readers, never conveying information by color alone, and maintaining readable color contrast throughout the site.

This is a self-assessment, not a third-party audit. As Sovayze is in active development and run by a small team, some pages or components may not yet fully meet this standard. We review and address accessibility issues on an ongoing basis as the product evolves, and we welcome reports of anything we've missed.

This same commitment extends to the Sovayze mobile app: we aim to support VoiceOver (iOS) and TalkBack (Android) screen readers, keyboard/switch-control navigation where applicable, and system font-scaling/dynamic type. This includes newer parts of the app such as SARATHI Live chat (screen-reader-labeled message bubbles and input field), TravelNoteBook (accessible labels for photo/note entries), and Travel Advisory badges (closure/event alerts announced with descriptive text, not color alone). As with the website, this is an ongoing effort for an actively evolving product.

If you are contacting us about an accessibility barrier under Ontario's AODA, we will acknowledge your feedback and aim to respond within 5 business days with either a fix, a timeline, or an explanation of why we cannot fix it immediately. We also provide our accessibility policies in an accessible format on request - write to the address below.
