Privacy Policy

When you visit our website, we may automatically collect: IP address and approximate location (country/region/city) derived from it, device type/browser/OS, pages visited and date/time of visit, and your cookie consent preference.

If you create a Sovayze account or use the app, we (or the app) may also collect:

• Account information: name, email, and profile picture (via email/password, Google, or Apple sign-in).
• Trip and search data: origin/destination, dates, number of travelers (adults/children/rooms), nationality, and interests entered to search flights, hotels, or generate itineraries.
• Saved trips: itineraries and listings saved under “My Trips”.
• Client data (SARATHI Business subscribers only): name, email, phone, and notes entered for the subscriber’s own clients/travelers, to organize itineraries on their behalf. See Section 5.
• Device/usage data and communications with our support team.

We do not collect payment card details ourselves - see Section 8, “Bookings & Payments”.

We use cookies on this website to remember your cookie preference and, if accepted, to understand aggregate visitor trends. See our Cookie Policy for full details. The Sovayze mobile app does not use browser cookies.

• Operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
• Generate personalized itineraries, mood-based suggestions, and budget estimates via SARATHI, our AI travel-planning engine, from your search inputs.
• Search and display live flight and hotel pricing from trusted providers.
• Respond to support requests and send Service-related notices (no marketing email unless you opt in).
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

If you're invited to a shared trip, that trip's dates/destinations/itinerary details become visible to you, and your basic profile info is visible to other participants. Each participant is responsible for the accuracy of what they personally add.

Sovayze offers a “SARATHI Business” tier for travel agents/teams, letting a subscriber create profiles for their own clients/travelers (“Client Data”) and generate or save itineraries on their behalf.

• The subscriber (agent) is solely responsible for obtaining any consent required by law before entering a client’s name, email, phone, or notes, and for having a lawful basis to do so.
• Sovayze acts only as a data processor for Client Data - stored and processed solely to provide the Service to the subscriber, never used for our own marketing or profiling.
• A subscriber can permanently delete a client profile at any time from the Agent Dashboard.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed with:

• Google Places API - destination/points-of-interest data for your search.
• Duffel - live flight search results/pricing and booking handoff.
• LiteAPI (Nuitee) - live hotel search results/pricing and booking handoff.
• Our AI itinerary-generation infrastructure provider (Emergent) - powers SARATHI.
• ipwho.is - a momentary, server-side lookup of your approximate country from your IP, used to show correct regional pricing; not a cookie, nothing is permanently stored tied to your IP.
• Google or Apple - only if you sign in using those providers.
• Affiliate partners (e.g. Travelpayouts), where an affiliate relationship is active for a booking link - disclosed near the link, doesn’t change the price you pay.
• Infrastructure/hosting/database providers, under confidentiality obligations.
• As required by law, or in connection with a merger/acquisition/asset sale.

We retain account and trip data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we permanently delete your account record, saved trips, and session data from production systems (residual copies may briefly persist in backups before standard rotation purges them).

Sovayze does not process travel payments itself. Flight and hotel bookings are completed directly with the third-party provider (or its designated payment processor); Sovayze does not receive or store your payment card details. If Sovayze introduces in-app subscription purchases (SARATHI Plus/Business), those will be processed by Apple's/Google's own in-app purchase systems, and this policy will be updated before that feature goes live.

• Account deletion: delete your account and all associated data at any time, directly in the app (Profile → Delete Account), or by emailing support@sovayze.com.
• You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us; we respond within a reasonable time per applicable law.
• EU/UK users (GDPR): right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your data, object to processing, and lodge a complaint with your local authority.
• California users (CCPA/CPRA): right to know what we collect, request deletion, and non-discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not sell or “share” personal information as defined under the CCPA.
• Other jurisdictions (Brazil LGPD, India DPDP Act, Singapore PDPA, and similar): equivalent rights honored to the extent required by law.
• Contact us (Section 12) to exercise any right; we may verify your identity first.

The Service is not directed to, and not intended for use by, children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. (Users in the EU/EEA should note some member states set a slightly different digital-consent age between 13–16 under GDPR.) If a parent/guardian adds a minor's details to a shared family itinerary, the adult is responsible for that data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
